The North Central Conference is a ten team high school athletic conference based in North Central Iowa. The conference's membership is primarily 3A (Iowa's second largest classification of schools), but some members are in 2A and even 1A (Iowa's smallest classification of schools). The conference has a long tradition together and many intense rivalries, such as the crosstown Algona High-Algona Garrigan rivalry.
